Today we traveled from Nice, France to London, UK. We had reservations on a certain train, but we made it to the train station too late and missed the train. The train was supposed to connect in Marseille and it worked out better because when we missed that train, we found out about one that was going a little later, directly to Paris. From Paris, we took another train (through the chunnel) from Paris to London. This train goes under the English Channel! It is a VERY expensive train that we would normally get a HUGE discount on, but we didn't know that they only reserved a few seats for those with train passes. So, we had to book full fare tickets which totally threw off our budget. In any event, we made it to London and found some cheap food!
